A question has arisen as to the signal path with
effects off. Is this a 100% analogue path?

There's s dispute because while the Prologue description
talks about a 100% analogue path, the flowchart in the
manual shows the signal going through the digital effects,
with no other alternative signal path before the LF compressor.

Does anyone know the answer? Is it always going through an ADC/DAC
even when effects are off?

I saw this has been widely discussed on gearslutz.
I have no answer, suppose it goes through adc anyway.
What is important for me the adc does not affect the sound significantly, at least I do not think so. The sound is bright, do not hear any antialiasing filtration going on, sounds quite similar to my karp oddy (assuming they are quite different machines), I wish to compare to my sub 37 but they are quite known for being darker. In fact I remember having radias years ago that had antialiasing filtration, can say prologue sounds way better.
Would be interesting to hear it clean though.

actually, it doesn't bother me, any filter would be well
beyond my current hearing range. Just curious really.

For me it is still well pronounced on e2 and kingkorg especially if you crank drive substantially
