Hi
I wrote a few weeks ago that my usb stick was damaged after unplug from PA4x
Today a second usb stick is out of order after unplug.
I think there is a real problem in PA4x USB management
I see only 2 solutions
- stop using usb
- shutdown PA4x each time we want to plug/unplug USB
Maybe a hardware issue ? |

For what purpose do you use a flash drive? |

This is not normal.
Did you format the USBs on the PA4X?

Hi
Yes this time I formatted with PA4x
Is there any difference between USB port in front of the keyboards (closed to ON/OFF button) and USB port behind ? |

Hi,
don‘t know, whats going wrong on your system.
I‘m using 2 USB sticks, one for mp3 in the rear slot and another one on the front side. In my studio this (front) one is is put into a USB Swirtch ( in germany sold by Pearl ) , which lets me switch the stick between the pa4x and a pc. While programming I‘m switching maybe 6 - 10 times a day.
If you disconnect, you‘ll get 1 message, if you connect you‘ll get 2 messages (second one is „Please wait...“ ) which often appears some seconds after the first message. Only after the second message the system has recognized the usb stick.
But... I never have damaged a stick, this is curious.
I would try other sticks, formatted on FAT32, I did this with both on my PC.
It worked.
