These sound pretty nice. The tone is pretty good Smile

I have a PA700 and am always looking at how other players play and use their sounds.

There are so many guitar players to listen to to get pointers and tricks on how to articulate the guitar sounds. The DNC controls help quite a bit too.

Keep in mind that it is not simply about the realism of the sound itself, but how these guitar sounds are articulated on a keyboarded instrument Smile

Grace,
Harry

Try using the touch strip instead of the joystick for both bends (and hammer-ons and -offs) and vibrato (by rocking your finger on the central point)...

I think you'll find it gives a far more natural guitaristic performance, and could help make those finger vibratos more realistic. A range of +/- 3 semitones gives a good result, and helps stop whole tone bends being too perfectly in tune!

It might also be worth your friend trying to map the muted samples to be triggerable by a footswitch rather than velocity. Guitarists have them independent of pick force, and can play muted loud or open quiet. There are a couple of places where it sounded like they were coming in a bit arbitrarily, rather than where a guitarist would have played them. Putting the sample switch to the feet allows you to be in control, rather than some pre-defined velocity level.

But the samples themselves are definitely on the right track! Nice work...
