Any way to change the Chord Recognition to show A-Flat on the touchscreen instead of G-Sharp? (Yeah silly i know -- This is purely a cosmetic change I'm looking for....)

Searched the latest manual fully, as well as this forum, but didn't see an option.

For some reason, my brain works in weird ways whereas something like an Abmaj7b5 is perfectly recognised by my finger memory, yet the identical chord expressed as G#maj7b5 makes my head confused =)

I rarely see G# in sheet music and such, as usually you're in Bb or Eb as the key signature, and G# would always be expressed as a Ab chord of some sort....

Likely the answer is no. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Hi Chris

Korg changed this "Chord display" back in the PA2X days (may have been earlier).

I do not know of a way to change this. Sad

Cheers

Your brain works just fine , although Ab and G# scales are identical , the alterations of these scales are totally different and educated Musicians
are used in brass scoring of bemole scales , not to mention the double sharps of some # scales that really can confuse you in real time !
So you're definitely right but unfortunately this can't be changed !
