I have a jazz drum kit assigned to track 2 in the sequencer. I am trying to add the Stereo Decimator effect to if for Industrial sounds. I can hear the various effects changing, but it is not giving me that heavy distortion effect like I got on my Korg Classic. Can you please advise me on this and any other knowledge you may have on adding effects.

I want the heavily distorted stereo decimator effect on track 2. Right now when I turn the effect on it just makes the drums sound muffled and flat.

Thank You,

Dark Jonny Question

There are quite a few parameters to the Stereo Decimator effect giving a lot of options. What wet/dry ratio have you set?

I changed the parameters from wet to dry and all points in between just now. Wet makes it sound muffled, while dry makes it sound more realistic. I am not getting any distortion or overdrive that I am going for ....for the industrial distorted drum sound.

Try to change the resolution. Decimator work as an old sampler. Change the resolution from 24 bit to 8 bit and degree the Sampling freq.
Also please send me an example (link or so) to understand what you looking for.

Are you saying to just change the sample rate on the sampler itself? If so, how do I change it. I am very new to the Krome and I am clueless on many levels.
