Hi, I have 2 M1s and a M1r that all have fading displays. Can anyone give me any links to any reasonably priced replacements please.

Hi antron,

I've done this kind of 'surgery' to my M1 & M1R 2˝ years ago - here's the result:

I've used this display from BuyDisplay:

https://www.buydisplay.com/default/display-40x2-lcd-module-character-datasheet-pdf-ks0066-white-on-blue

If you consider to buy from there please take care to order a display with the correct operating voltage!

Must be VDD=5V, not 3.3V!! That's important!
