My PA1000 keeps “Freezing Up” at my gigs, making a single obnoxious continuous tone. Every time I’ve had to reboot it to continue to use it.
I don’t use the drum section, only manual bass/piano, etc. splits. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It’s a real mood killer, plus I just have to stand there while it reboots...

Do you have any custom resources (especially from older models) loaded?
If yes, have you checked if it does it when you factory restore it?
Also how often does this happen?

I do have a Yamaha C5(?) set of samples installed. I haven’t factory restored it. It seems to hang up when using the sustain pedal

Had it once nearly a year ago. Reset fixed it, it smashed my self confidence though....
Since I updated to new firmware it did not re-occur. So far that is....

Probably not much help but I use mine daily for a few hours. Only do weekend gigs. Never seen this happen once in almost a year.

At least it might suggest the behavior is not normal nor widespread. Rolling Eyes
