we have the PA 700/1000 now. Any news on when would the latest lowest end model for this series be launched. Planning to buy an arranger but PA300/600 are pretty old and PA700 is over the budget.

Thanks for the link, I was thinking of getting a new keyboard some day (I had one and played it millions of years ago, and wanted to get back into that) and didn't really know which one to choose... Are there already independent reviews for htis model?

I am not sure that the EK-50 would be considered the direct replacement for a PA300. The EK-50 is more of an entry level unit directly positioned to compete with the PSR series. I think that the EK outperforms the PSRs for sure, until you get up into the PSR-S (or the new PSR-SX).

I am not sure what Korg has in store for a new entry level arranger. With their numbering scheme, they are running out of numbers Smile

They might come out with a PA400 someday, but what happens when they upgrade that?

They already had the PA500, PA600, PA800, PA900, and currently have the PA700/PA1000....

Maybe they will simply change the name to something other than a PAXXX number.

I would personally love to see a PA788 (to follow what the PA588 was), with their hammer action 88-key keybed...THAT would be cool Smile

Grace,
Harry
