Press and hold switches in the following order:

MIXER KNOBS
RESET CONTROLS
ENTER and 5

to diagnose FAN, RAM ( no need to open the case if components were sitted properly at first place) and other things.

Regarding power source:
Remember that UPS topologies have unprotected paths that may expose the Kronos power supply to transient overvoltage.
Surge Protection Device is a must,
and some clamping devices tend to exhibit leakage current at low voltages regardless. Quality of power supply plays as well a crucial role, especially in IT equipment.

Hey thanks I tried that but it only erased the color scheme in set list mode. Do i hold these buttons down while it powers up or Im I supposed to be in a certain mode like Combi or program?

Start Kronos normally, default is SET LIST.
Use two hand, and

MIXER KNOBS (press and hold)
RESET CONTROLS (press and hold)
ENTER (press and hold)
5 (press and hold)

Release switches when a black screen appears with FULL DIAGNOSTICS.
Once it's done, turn Kronos off.
Your colours will be back with a next reboot.

You are not necessary correct.
If you see on your display -> value 0 RPM 0, you are in a FAN CONTROL TEST MODE.
Use VALUE slider ( next to MASTER ) to change value from 0 to 128.
Your RPM should mirror your changes (e.g. in an ambient temperature of 15 deg C, when value =128, RPM = 2636 )
If you get those reading than it means you are OK.
Press ENTER to process to the next TEST.

i was following this thread, and i want to know what happened to your Kronos finally?
Was it the power supply issue or something else? As i ve recently started to have the same 'power cycle' issue on my kronos.
My K2 is connected to a spike Guard and I'm contemplating to get hold of a UPS.

But is UPS the answer or is it something else?

Please do revert
thanks
