Normally the latest version of the Pa4X OS is V3.1.0.
how is it that the company Music Gear which markets Pa4xOR MG1 and Pa4xOr MG2 did not update the version of the OS for MG1 and which remained until today al version 3.0.1?
All buyers of the Pa4x MG1 have been demoralized and keep asking the company in Leban to update the OS. But without result.
Currently, the same distributor has abounded customers of the Pa4X Gold MG1 to focus on its new Pa1000Or MG which contains characteristics of the OS and Hard that can compete with the Pa4X in the Middle East !!!

He is the Role of Mother Korg company to preserve brand awareness to unify the OS version of the same product family.
How do I authorize a brand distributor to smooth Korg customers without updates?

I don't understand - why can't you update the OS?

Many PA4X units are shipped at a time prior to an upgrade, hence they get sold with an older OS version.
It is not Korg's (or distributor's) responsibility to up date the OS.

Update is simple.

Pa4x or Mg1 are arangeurs whose OS have been modified by the distributor. their OS does not resemble the OS of Pa4x Occidental or Au Pa4x Or. the latest version of the OS available from the distributor is v3.0.1. If we put version 3.1.0 downloaded on the official Korg site, we will lose all the oriental programs it contains in factory. this is why, it needs an update adapted by its distributor. for example, the same lebanese company markets another version of Pa4x under the name Pa4x Or MG2. the latest version of the OS has been prepared for the MG2 and downloadable from their site. but for the Pa4x Or MG1 no update. At present, musicians who have the Pa4x including its Gold MG1 version still suffer from the tempo problem of PAD and the problem of version v3.0.1. As regards the material of the company korg, why Korg does not require this distributor in leban to prepare an update of the Pa4x adapted?

OK - I didn't realise that the "MG1" was a non-standard Korg add-on.

I can only see the ORIENTAL version which seems to be fully supported by Korg but I see no reference to any special add-on "MG1"

So it seems logical that your distributor is responsible and not Korg

Apologies if I have misunderstood.

the problem is that korg customers when they bought Pa4x Or MG1, it is because they trust the korg brand and the distributor is only an intermediary who cannot modify the pa4x OS without the agreement of the manufacturer.
Therefore, the responsibility of Korg is engaged given that it is the Korg brand and that all distributors must respect the commercial charter. since the version of OS 3.1.0 was released for Pa4x, all versions of the 4x must be powered by the same version of the OS.
it's no, it's anarchy and loss of brand confidence.

Wouldn’t it be the responsibility of the country’s retail distributor to inform their customers about any regional modifications to the international OS rather than Korg Global?

As in all things, caveat emptor... buyer beware! It is YOUR responsibility to be an informed customer. The minute you see additions to the product name, start asking questions BEFORE you buy. Find out the pluses and minuses. Decide what you can live with.

THEN buy it, not until...

Regional modifications are the responsibility of the region.

I stop buying this third parts due to lack of support and upgrades. Sold my and got back to the regular.
