|
|
Hello,
First of all, on the Pa3x and Pa2x the problem does not occur and I tried different versions of Pa4x OS.
When I record a song in Quick Record, the playback from a DAW sounds different/wrong.
- I record a song via Quick Record on the Pa4x (does not matter if its a factory or user style (and used sounds))
- I save the recorded MIDI-file on a USB-drive and load that file in a DAW (e.g. Studio One in this case).
- I assign the channels and the Pa4x is still in Sequencer-Mode (I tried also with different modes)
- On playback in the DAW, the drums etc. sound different/wrong compared to when I play the style or the MIDI-file directly from the Pa4x.
If I load the MIDI-file into the Pa4x player and play back, pause and then play back from the DAW in the middle of the file (so the first measure with the control changes etc. are not sent by the DAW to the Pa4x), everything is fine. But if I play that file from the beginning in the DAW, it sounds strange again. The problem does not just concern the drums.
For DAW playback the Pa4x (and Pa3x) is setup to "Player 1" in the MIDI-settings.
I think the problem is Pa4x related, since everything works fine on the Pa3x (and Pa2x, too). I tried MIDI-connection with the MIDI-ports and USB-cable.
Can someone try to reproduce this bug, please?[/url] |
