I know that the pa4x has the TC-Helicon Vocal Harmonizer. IT is a 4-part harmonizer that comes with lots of presets and can produce harmony parts based on the left hand performance - very cool.

Has anyone tried to compare that vocal harmonizer and its capabilities to the V-Synth GT vocal harmony features? It is not a 4-part vocal harmonizer, but it can produce harmony parts based on how many keys are played simultaneously.

I would like to get your professional opinion regarding the differences between both of those two engines.

Also, do you think that there are things the V-Synth GT harmonizer can do, the pa4x can not do?

Thank you.

I can't give you a comparison but:-

The PA4X TCH will enable you to play notes to create your own harmonies - still 4-part though.

Here's the PA3X demo - PA4X is same and I believe better configured....

If you want to choose between the two for making vocal harmonies, which one would you choose, and why?

As I said, I can't give you a comparison as I've never touched a V-Synth GT.

I like the PA4X TCH as it is a the simplest and most convenient way for me to add professional high quality harmonies - there are fantastic presets and I love the "humanisation" the way it adjusts to the voice. It does not sound like the classic old harmoniser which has that "perfect" and "false" harmony sound - every part locked into the nanosecond!!!

But can't help with the V-Synth - sorry.

I owned both in the past
They are hard to compare...

Where pa4x has a full fledged vocal harmonizer
where i used the v-synth more as a vocalizer..
To me make my voice part o& the synthsound..
Thats where i tought the v-synth realy shined

The VSynth has a Vocalizer and they are 2 different things,
they are not even comparable. One is actual Harmonizer and
it has to do with actual Vocals while the other as Bachus said
makes the Vocals part of the Synth, Synthesizing the Vocals.
