|
|
I recorded on my Krome EX a song's midi tracks from Cakewalk. I then changed the track voices on my Krome to the voices I wanted, but they automatically change back to the originally recorded voices. I tried changing the track voices then saving to SD but as soon as I press play in sequencer the voices change back. Please help. |

Unwanted program change events have likely been recorded into the MIDI tracks that need to be deleted. _________________ bpoodoo

This is for Triton, but the same basic steps should work for Krome, though menu selections may be different. Initial program change events are usually in the first measure of a MIDI track and can be removed using Track Edit > Event Edit.
1) Load your .SNG file
2) Enter Sequencer mode
3) Select your song
4) Select Track 1
5) Menu>Track Edit
6) Pull down menu for Event Edit
7) Check "Program Change" only
8 ) Select and cut any Program Change events
9) Repeat 4-8 for other tracks, if necessary.
10) Play sequence and confirm no program change
11) Save .SNG file _________________ bpoodoo

I followed your instructions and it fixed my instrument changing problem just like you said it would. Thank you so very much for helping me out. Now I will try to glue all the hair I pulled out back onto my head trying to figure it out on my own. |

Haha - you're quite welcome. A little less hair up top can be a sign of experience and wisdom! _________________ bpoodoo
