I had been using an on/off damper pedal on my Kronos but decided I wanted to try a half damper pedal.

I picked up a Yamaha FC3A cause I could get it for a good price and quickly.

It does work but you have to switch the wires for tip and ring. Take the bottom cover off and the wire are easy access ( white and red ones on mine ). The wires were not wrapped through the potentiometer lugs so unsoldering was a breeze.

If you can do this kind of work, when done, the Yamaha pedal calibrated fine and works well.

I don't know how the response of the Yamaha pedal compares to the Korg, but to me, seems OK. Disclaimer: I'm not a great player but I can hear things and I can hear the different sustain based on pedal position.
