Looks like a smaller keyboard for me. Bigger keyboards don't have the keys so exposed to protect them against shaking during transport.

If I were you I would buy a keybord in EU.
Replacement ( if needed ), warranty etc ... will be easier for you.

It turned out to be the Wavestate!!

Fascinating to read this, I'm in exactly the same boat.
I fell in love with the Kronos about 18 months ago when I first started to learn piano and I've wanted one ever since.
I'll be setting up my home studio in 5 or 6 weeks so I've been trying to finalise my decision on what I'll buy. I want to go down the NI S88 MK2/Komplete 13 route because I want to learn to compose as well as record/mix my music. But I also want a Kronos. I want to be able to just sit down and play and have Karma, drum track etc at my disposal without having to bother with a laptop to change from an EP to a Hammond to a Steinway. I want to be able to play a bass guitar in left hand and a piano in the right...I want to be able to change the sounds of synths and be able to just press "record" and get my ideas down without using a mouse to click on my DAW.......

I know the Kronos is more than I actually need and I should spend the money on extra Virtual Instruments/plugins.....but I just damn well want one so much!!

Think about trying to find a mint used K2 then… it would ease the purchase pain a bit, give a better sense of value (IMHO), and I can tell you from first-hand experience that there are very lightly used K2s on the secondary market.

Should be able to find a good one for a very reasonable discount.
