I read somewhere that people had converted their PA to a module, any information on this? |

I definitely see the appeal of putting it in a module format. One could easily wish to be playing the PA1000 from an alternate action, for feel and/or wanting 7x or 88 keys, and while you can use MIDI for that, doing so puts the PA1000's controls farther away from your playing keys than you might like. Or maybe you want to gig with the PA1000's sounds/capabilities as part of a setup with another board (or two) and don't want to have to have to take a whole "extra" set of keys for it, with the added travel weight and stage space considerations that requires. Or similarly add its sounds/functionalities to a home studio rig that already has sufficient keys set up for other purposes. I think the only production "desktop modules" I've seen of ths sort are the ones from Ketron. It's cool to see that a PA1000 mod can be done... but it's more than I could do! |

I allways tought the M3 solution could be perfect for all korg keys..
You would have both a key and a module.. _________________ Korg Kronos 2/88 , Genos, Mainstage3 +VSTsu, ipad pro, GSi Gemini, Roland Integra 7, Jupiter Xm, Yamaha motif XS rack, Ketron SD90.

Nothing new, every kboard can be module, if you have a little knowledge about electronics or some your friend. I saw almost every kboard as a module, just don't forget you loose your warranty 👍 _________________ Roland fantom X7, Roland fantom Xa, Korg Pa3X, Korg Pa1000, Juzisound Micro, Medeli Akx10, Yamaha Tyros 3 |
