Does the Kronos have a HD or SSD internally?

Hi -

I'm new to Kronos so please forgive the newbie questions (I'm an OASYS owner for 16 years).

I just looked at the Media Info and it says it's a HDD inside - not an SSD!

I was under the impression that the Kronos used an SSD?

Separately - is there any speed advantage to attaching an SSD as distinct to a HD externally over USB (assuming it's only operating at USB2 rates)?

SSD, even Gen 1 has SSD. Where did it state HDD?

Connecting an external SSD vs HDD you’ll still be limited by the USB speed, but in general, SSD will be faster given its not mechanical when fetching data.

THIS… HDD is a reference for a hard disk drive, and SSD (solid state disk) is a type of hard disk drive form factor.

Search this forum and you’ll find plenty of threads discussing replacing the original SSD drives on all flavors of Kronos.
