|
|
Yesterday I just realized that my Opsix was not outputing left signal at same level as the right one. And this for several programs where the reverb was not playing with PAN.
No problem I thought, let's adjust the output PAN level....
BUT there is no way to adjust the output PAN level
I thought, may be it is by operator ? But desillusion again : nothing on operator pan level
The only way to have an action on PAN seems to be in reverb ?
Isn't it a huge missing feature for a synth with stereo output ???
... and how to solve my unequal output level problem ? |

If you look at page 82 of the manual under the destinations list of the virtual patching destinations under the Program heading, they list Pan. But so far, I haven't been able to find pan as a mod destination.Has anyone else here seen that as a possibility? It'd be great being able to pan the Operators around the stereo field with 6 oscillators, then being able to modulate them with any of the sources available.. _________________ http://soundcloud.com/raven-2741

Yes, that's part of my point, the machine code to process pan modifications seems to be in the firmware, but connected to limited number of features.
Yes Pan on operators AND global Pan (sure I can connect a mixer or manage Pan in the DAW but why add some box or external processing when we could have it in the Opsix) are missing software features when the hardware is ready for.
Concerning my own pan level pb, it appears it was a poor TRS cable, after changing for a better one the output is now more logic... |
