The 4 lowest B keys do not sound consistently. Sometimes they sound and sometimes they don’t. Lately they have not been sounding at all. It’s been a slow progression. All 4 keys do this together as a unit. Either all 4 Bs sound or, all 4 Bs do not sound. Is this a contact issue or is it more like a mother board thing? Haven’t taken it apart yet to check contacts. I’ve taken Roland and Kurzweil pianos apart before so I’m basically familiar with how to do this. _________________ MCIIImusicfactory88 |

I think the prox is the 88 note keybed which uses the YAMAHA AE 88. Remove the keybed and place it on a blanket. Unscrew the contact pcb. The rubber contact is a continuous strip. Gently clean the strip and blow any debris away from the plastic hammers. Reassemble and you're done. If it is still nad than you have an issue on the contact pcb. You can look to replace the bad board if you can find another. Let me know how you make out or if you need a board. _________________ Kronos 2 88
