I wrote a space rock tune the other day and had fun making noises and sounds with my KingKorg and Kronos. Hope you like it!

Sounds pretty good, I like Gong and Ozrics.
I am currently dissecting the synth sounds on Steve Hillage's Rainbow Dome Musik and similar, and am getting pretty close. That has been quite a challenge as you need to listen past all of the delays to find the basis of what is being sequenced, build that and then add the delays.
I have started with Arturia 2600V and Mini as the 2600 and Minimoog were the key instruments used in the original, but am looking at replicating the sounds in AL-1 as well.
And I do have some other nice Hillage sounds - kudos to EnigmaHack (Audora Audio) for giving me the start point several years back, which i have been adapting.
I've also been experimenting how to get Ozric type waterfall sounds using MOD7, as I had the revelation the other day that these sounds were mainly obtain by filter oscillation at high resonance and the fact that early synths with limited patching had more modulation control on the filter. Anyway the revelation was that if the filter is giving you a sine wave and you need to modulate it, why could I not do that in MOD7? _________________ Derek Cook - Java Developer

Sounds like a good idea. After all these years I still haven't gotten around to fooling with Mod7. Just lazy, I guess. For my noises I used 2 synths. On my Kronos I used an MS20 patch called Trill pad. I called up the control panel and cranked up the resonance. I swept the cutoff while holding down a key or 2. I also created a patch on my KingKorg using noise as a start and then cranking up the resonance and also sweeping the cutoff. I used the modulation to essentially pulse the resonance.
Lots of fun! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

This song has a great groove, flow, and sense of movement. Almost like a billowing cloud! Nice choice of instruments, sounds, and use of modulation. And the title... _________________ bpoodoo
