I would like an up to date Kronos with updated UI, better step sequencer, more sample ram, polyphonic aftertouch, led’s around knobs and sliders and much faster boot time. |

I have a Kronos X61 (2014) as my top tier and Montage 7 (2017) as my bottom tier, and there is enough in the Montage M for me to upgrade when I am ready.
I think the Kronos and Montage are very complementary to each other and would not like to be without either.
I would like to see a revised Kronos, but the only concern I have about any revamped Kronos is lack of Karma if Korg have stopped working with Stephen Kaye. But as I always have a PC in my rig, maybe I could use Karma software?
In the meantime the Kronos still kicks ass, and I think AL-1 is one of the best virtual analogs out there. _________________ Derek Cook - Java Developer

100% this. I mean, they released a VST version the Titan, and some others. Come on, Korg...pretty please! _________________ Voyager, A Tribute to the Music of Journey https://www.voyageraz.com

If you people are going to sing the praises of the new Yamaha, then buy the Yamaha and forget Korg. There’s a saying about relationships: “Never allow someone to be your priority, if you are just an option to them”. Kronos fans are NOT a priority with Korg, so leave ‘em. |

I also sing the praises of my Kronos. An incredibly deep synth that I still feel I have not scratched the surface of. And AL1 remains one of the best VAs out there.
Kronos has not been updated for a long time, but that does not stop it from being a powerful synth.
There is no reason to forget Korg just because I like other synths as well. I really like Wavestate and MODWAVE as well as the Kronos. _________________ Derek Cook - Java Developer
