Help needed please,
I have a Songbook with associated Setlst items in my Pa5X which I wish to retain. I also have a backup of the whole system taken a short while after getting the Keyboard. The Songbook and Setlst items in the latter file contain things I would like to add to the current Songbook.

I have tried calling up the backup, selecting Songbook items and loading them WITHOUT the "replace all" tick. This did not produce a merged Songbook, but instead, overwrote the current one.

Is there a way of combining these two sets of data?

I'm surprised nobody gives you an answer, but it's easy to do:

Skip to 8:50 in my tutorial to see how to get separate items from a backup or other KST file in your pa5x.

So if you watched the full video, then for the songbook the only thing you have to do is use the copy function instead of loading:
- FIRST CREATE A BACKUP of your current pa5x, when you wachted the tutorial then this should be easy now.
- press the file button
- select the KST file
- select your songbook in the kst file
- click on the SONGDB.SDB file

now you see all the songs in your backup songbook
- select the one you want to copy, or hold shift for multiselect, or use the menu button on your touchscreen to select the entire list of entries
- then use the copy function and paste them in your songbook

By doing it this way you won't overwrite your current songbook, because this is a different procedure then loading the entire songbook, which basically replacing your old one.

hope this helps

Hi Qui,
I can not copy & paste the entries because the copy command (and all remain commands : paste, cut, rename, delete) are greyed out. Only Load and Select All commands are available.
Please help, thanks!
