I finally sold my Pa5x! After weeks of hesitation and wishful thinking, I got rid of 33lbs of metal just collecting dust.
I honestly wanted to sell it the very first day of opening the box but I waited for some hope or a sign from Korg. As you all know, Korg doesn’t like to communicate with their customers.
So, I will wait a few more years until all the problems and bugs will be solved on the 5x. Just knowing how things operate, I’m pretty sure it will be close to the release of the 6x lol.
Good luck to all of you that have the 5x in your possession. Hope things get resolved for you as soon as possible. |

@Niki_Keyz,
Sorry to hear that but I would say that you got a write and logical decision in this absurd situation that is the Korg's company strategies, completely silent, no communication with their customers.
I was in the same situation with my Pa1000, and struggled for a while with Korg to see what's the problems with Pa1000 that I had,
I even sent them my personal set for examining to see if there is something wrong with my set.
They never contacted me, no replied. So I sold my Pa1000 and switched to another brand. |

Is it worth considering most of these bugs are due to the installation of SET files from previous models. Has someone tried to remove the loaded SET files and recheck ? I am very puzzled now as I am about commit for one this week week. _________________ Korg Pa4X, KRONOS 2 LS, Roland Fantom 6, Yamaha PSR SX 900, Integra 7, Roland TD 50x Module, Mac Pro Intel Xeon, RME fireface 802, Audient ASP800, Cubase 12 Pro; |

Sorry to hear this. Hope it hasn't cost you too much.
What will you use in the meantime - did you still have another arranger?
Good luck with everything.

Hey Pete, I still have my Pa4x. I’m in the process of getting another Pa4x and leaving it in the other state where I do most of my gigs. Now I don’t have to worry about carrying the keyboard with me. |

Well so far the comments have been so bad I doubt they will be able to sell many so they may have to start listening to their customers for once _________________ Pro Singer/Musician for over 30 Years |

Korg will sell lots because customers are not aware of those problems _________________ Korg pa5x vs Genos 2 - spec comparison |

This is what everyone should do !!
The reason why korg is not listening is because they still have YOUR money in THEIR pockets whilst you provide to them a free beta testing service .
Until you reverse the situation and get back YOUR money from THEM , there is no pressure on them to get a good product to the market .
This is not difficult to understand . |

Why did you sell it and not return it?

Well Pete, I told a friend of mine that I wanted to return it. He told me he wasn’t going to get his until December. I guess he didn’t wait to wait. So he offered to get it off my hands and cancel his other order. |

I totally Disagree with this. You don't think a musician with hard earned dollars would do their due diligence before spending $5k ???
Most people today are very Internet, Youtube, and Tech savy not to mention cautious with their dollars. _________________ Pa5x, Yamaha Genos, ForeScore |

That's great - I am genuinely happy for you. In a way, it's a shame that Korg still has the money you originally paid for it but, for you personally, this was an excellent opportunity and solution.
I am hoping to actually see and play one in the next couple of days..... I am strangely excited but know that I will not buy right now.
