can you pan the microphone hard pan right?

Sorry - completely missed that - I must have just been pairing Bass and Drums in my mind.
I can check this - but even without a positive test, this will definitely work since I was able to isolate base by assigning it to 3/4 (Full Pan Left)
Mic is assignable to a single output - in your case you would choose Mic to Output 4 _________________ Dave Kalbach

Saving settings to Songbook
Perhaps I missed this in my reading. I have Style to Keyboard Set selected (preferred) and I have it set to change with variations (blinking) - this is my preferred setting.
Now I have a song that I wish to Start with Variation 2, Intro 2 - but I want to use Keyboard Set 1 for the first 15 measures. I keep thinking I should be able to set it up this was and save it as a new Songbook Entry to retain my settings, but it always comes back Var 2, Keyboard Set 2 (per my blinking light).
I realize I can set Style to Keyboard Set (solid light - assigns first keyboard set), but I want the keyboard sets to follow variations (Style to Keyboard - blinking) after the songs opening. Again, I know I can select that once I start playing (but I'm not good enough to reach up and change it while playing)
In short - I would like to Start a Songbook entry from Intro 2, Var 2 - Keyboard Set 1, but have subsequent Variations (1-4) match Keyboard Sets (1-4)
Is there a way to do this? Something I'm missing - or is this all by design? _________________ Dave Kalbach

"Memory protected" How do I turn this option off? Unsuccessfully I tried changing the effect to factory Style, Keyboard set. In addition to the huge number of errors and an incomplete OS, this one was also missing.
Is there something to do? _________________ Korg X3

If I'm understanding you correctly - You are trying to over-write a factory Style.
Those are protected to avoid you changing the factory styles which are used for different SongBook entries. You'll need to Save the Style to a User Bank, and then you can adjust from there. _________________ Dave Kalbach

Yes, I do but I don't want to duplicate rhythms was my thought. Previously, We had a choice to unprotected factory, etc. _________________ Korg X3
