Hi,
thinking of buying an Oasys. Since it doesnt have SST like Kronos, I was thinking what would be my options when using just 1 keyboard.
Forum search brought this Karma way, Cant really understand it when cant test it, but it changes sounds via scenes(?!) within a combi if I understood correctly. How does this change btw happen actually? Via certain buttons? which are these?
Also was thinking if the "subject"-way would do the trick? If a combi has various sounds with various channels
Thanks in advance! |

The way it works is it uses the scene buttons, so you can turn timbres on and off via changing the scenes.
You can't do what you've asked with the pads, however. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Thank you very much for the answer Stephen.
I looked into the manual and understood that there are 8 scenes but 4 "karma modules" from a to d - So I am wondering whether I can use 4 or 8 different "sound combinations" within a combi when switching sounds smoothly? |

Thank you so much!
It seems 4 sounds are possible + combination of those. |

4 "channels," actually. You can stack several sounds (layers) on a MIDI channel. You could use all 16 sounds of a combi/song, if you want to switch from one layer to another. |
