I put the MOSS board in my Extreme but I wonder if I am missing something. What secret benefits have you uncovered with yours? _________________ <TritonTutorials>

Have you loaded the preset programs from the floppy? They should be available in Bank F. There's also the demo songs to showcase what MOSS can do. Bank F programs can be added into a Combination. |

Hi! One of the best secrets probably is its program No 126 called Laughter - it really proves that Moss can do anything! But programming is not so easy. |

I love the MOSS particularly the VPM mode which is a bit like FM synthesis.
in the standard mode which is basically a virtual analog setup go to the mixer section and and assign LFOs to control volume of osc/sub osc/noise etc. Use a square wave LFO to make the Sub OSc go boom boom booom. and assign a faster LFO to the noise to get a shaker sount. make sure they are all tempo sync'd (check the box at the bottom left). Keep experimenting and you get these cool rhythmic sounds with one key. |

this makes me more skeptical on the moss ! i was considering it to get nice PWM lead sounds , where PWM is controlled by LFO , but any examples i hear on youtube are just trash. Particularly that "prestiged" laughter patch. Korg laughing at their customers for buying moss maybe |
