I have connected the MS-20 via USB to my laptop and everything appears to be working fine and I have control from the software and the physical unit. Though when I plug in the headphones or use the output to a mixer I get a clicking noise. Actually more of a clunking noise since it is a lower frequency. It pulses like eighth notes, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk etc.

I connected to several computers and tried various USB cables and got the same result. Also when I adjust the volume on the MS-20 the clicking remains at the same level. I am thinking a ground loop issue but that is typically a higher pitched noise or the 60hz hum, this is different. I do not get this noise from the audio output on the laptop, only from the MS-20 physical output. I do not have a USB ground loop isolator, but thought you may have some ideas before I purchase one.

Thanks.
