PA 4X arrives today. Is the Korg EC 5 Foot Pedal what I need to trigger drum fills?

If so what other suggesred uses....Sorry never had an Arranger before so I am in the dark

You can trigger fills and variations both on the keyboard console and also with the EC5. You can also use the EC5 to trigger many many other things if you need to. You just set it up by choosing what you want each pedal button to do, from a dropdown list on one of the setup screens. It's in the manual.

Hi Steve

The EC5 is great - wish it had 10 pedals!!!
I mostly use mine for FILLs and DNC but there are lots of options.

I decided to get the EC5 week after I got my Pa4x, now both hands can keep busy and the scene can change ! Well Worth Getting imho

I ordered it already....Just a basic pedal for the sustain right?

Although you can set one of the foot buttons on the EC-5 to be a damper, I personally find that I want a basic damper pedal as well to be the damper.

And, if you play piano, a dedicated damper pedal may let you do half-pedaling (if supported by the pedal).
