Is there a way to store in the Songbook the key you want to play the tune in ? With the Yamaha system you can store it in the Registration but I can't seem to see how to do it in the PA4X. Surprised Many thanks in advance for any help with this.

Absolutely,

And it will also save a reminder of where you want the transpose on.....Huge for me because certain songs I like them voiced the way I play best in certain keys. If you want the transpose saved you need to go to Global and make sure transpose lock is NOT LOCKED....

In Songbook go to Book Edit 2...Key info is right there and it will also save where you are on transpose....You do have to press "Write"

Caution...This "Write" function remembers everything exactly as your board is set up for this tune. So.....If you are on the 3rd variation and you press write it will start your song next time there. Always make sure when you press "write" that your volumes, transpose, split etc are set exactly how you want it to start your tune (It overwrites ALL parameters)....

Otherwise when you go to play your song next time you may just be starting on Var. 4.....
