History repeating itself (PA1X,PA2X,PA3X) - new models always seem to have a small import burst here, then a significant delay.....
Was due end November - not holding my breath any more.....

A bunch of 61 key PA4X's are due to arrive in Melbourne on 3rd of March.

Pete,
Like many other sales companies around the world, I bet your Aussie importer holds off ordering product until they have enough pre-sold to make economic sense for them. Then when they finally get around to ordering they're at the back of the queue at the factory. Fait Accompli! _________________ ”It’s easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.”

That's about it Rick!!!
Conversely, if we can't try one, we won't order it!!!!

I know Melbourne is a bit of a trek for you, Pete, but as the OP mentions, if there's a handful of 61's coming in on March 3, if it's one of your major stores (Billy Hyde?) I wonder if they might ship one over to your local branch.
Even if you don't go for it, it shouldn't be too hard for them to move one unit in your neck of the woods.
That might be a pie-in-the-sky thought, but ya never know. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Hi Giner
Billy Hyde went bust and they also owned the main Australian Korg distributor here!!!
Anyhow we have a much better distributor now!!
I managed to get my Kronos on the back of that through another retailer who smartly bought up some of Hyde's KK stock quickly!!
Anyhow, it is really a 76 that I want but there is a 61 now locally (I think) so I might get some "ears-on" experience yet!!
AND SAM:- I SO HATE THAT YOU ARE, OF COURSE, CORRECT.....
Cheers

Hey Pete,
If you are after a 76 key, GH MUSIC in Flemington (Melbourne) have one.
Just google GH MUSIC, get the phone number and ask to speak to Bernie... (Tell him Andy sent you)... they can courier the keyboard to where ever you are in Aus.
Cheers. _________________ Kronos X-61
