I was just curious how the Korg Module LE app sounds like on my PA3X.
So I hooked my Ipad3 to my PA3X with the camera kit, and audio out from the Ipad to Line In from PA3X.
Now I can play the Module piano with my PA3X, and it sounds quite good, but it's very, very low volume.
It's not usable with the PA-styles this way.

Any ideas what to do to get a higher volume?

I also tried other apps, some do have a significant higher volume.

Do I need to use a preamp or a mixer perhaps?

If I don't get this fixed, I will not bother to purchase the paid version of the Korg Module; that would be a waste of money.

What other apps have you tried? I don't have Module LE, but I do have the full version and I can't differentiate between Module and the volume of my other apps.

Only free apps until now, just to experiment a bit and see what I can do with them:
Yamaha Synth & Drum Pad, Yamaha Synth Book and KV331 SynthMaster Player.
Only KV331 can be played directly from my PA3X, but all three have louder sound volume.

(KV331 sound is giving other problems, hick ups for instance, but volume is definitely higher then Korg Module).

Wll, maybe my Ipad 3 is too old for these apps.

I just experimented with the Novation Launchkey app:
this works great with my PA3X and with sufficient volume, so I do think the Korg Module LE App is just too low in volume.

Having great fun with the Novation App by the way!

I found it at just the right moment, because I almost gave up my experiments with the Ipad.

Edit: Steinberg NanoLogue is also very, very nice and even higher volume.

I use the nanologue as well, but can't seem to find a discernible volume difference? I'm beginning to think that this must be a problem with the LE version?

Does it make a difference when you aren't using your PA3X (not sure why it would, but it's worth asking).

Must be the LE-version I guess.

I don't think I will buy the full version though.

I've tried the iGrand app, and this sounds very, very good, and with enough volume to play along with PA3X styles.

I don't get why KORG module LE can't do the same with a KORG flagship arranger. Shocked
Beats me, but I'm done with that app because of this.
Its navigation and sounds were promising, but with this volume issue, unusable.

Hate that for you. It's a great app for me, and easily my go-to for pianos and EP's. If you know anyone with the the full version, get them to load it up and see if it makes a difference.

I am using songbook plus app which puts lets you program songbook numbers on your iPad. When I select a songbook number the style volume tends to be low. I hit the panic button on the Korg, shift start/stop which sets all notes off. Style volume back to normal.
Maybe be related? Also, when I hit this panic button, the song book number changes on the iPad. ??? I am now corresponding with Songbook plus app developer.
