Hey there, I just bought a SV1 a week ago, and now I'm trying to connect it to my computer running Windows 7. I've installed and uninstalled the official drivers and the editor several times, but nothing seems to work. When in device manager, Windows says that the drivers are not signed (code 52), and therefore I can't use them. Is there anyone facing the same problems? What can I do?

I had a problem that was similar and I contacted Korg about it. This is what they sent me. I tried it and it worked for me. Give it a shot.

Sorry that you are having an issue using the SV1 editor.

Please try the procedure below to see if it correct the issue.

Disconnect the SV1, then navigate to your main hard drive (usually CSmile, open the Program Files (x86) folder, then the KORG folder, then the KORG USB-MIDI Driver folder. There you should find UnInstDrv.exe. Please run this, click “Next,” and you should see a list of MIDI entries that can be uninstalled. Check every one of the ones that mentions your SV1, then click “Next” again. Click “OK” to confirm.

Then, go to the Start menu, type “regedit”, and press Enter.
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SOFTWARE, then Microsoft, then Windows NT, then Drivers32.
You should see midi1, midi2, midi3, etc. Please delete all these entries.

Next, reconnect the SV1, and run the “Install KORG USB-MIDI Device” utility to install the SV1 again.

Best regards,
