Direct banks can have 412 Styles, how many you need ?? Wink
Is design to portable styles, you want 4 Direct banks,... buy 4 USB drives. You can have many you want. Laughing

DIRECT Access is like User Style banks, only unlimited as one can literally have unlimited styles for Direct access stored on a USB drive. You may need to read up on Direct Access to fully understand the potential & use of this great feature.

You right, there are alot of styles there but.
I am Korg arrangers user since i3 and I make a style for every specific song so I can measure in my library alot of styles plus other styles from old roland , ketron, yamaha and technics that I have translated in pa format with emc styleworks. but that is not the reason I made this question. The main reason is that Korg made this great feature and I beleive that is not difficult at all for them to expand it in a trully unlimited function. So why do they dont do it????

Expand is not difficult, but is time consuming, is requite re-design entire GUI and many other functions.
The way is now is perfect, you just need to organize your huge collection of style for groups of 412 and you will be fine.
Programmers they high pay very intelligent workers, Korg use them for working on improving Keyboards features as an instrument, not style storage device.
I wouldn't mind if they increase RAM Sample size, but frankly I believe 1236 styles position in banks is way more that people needed. Wink
Nobody play more that 412 styles in one shot, how long taking to swap USB on break between playing??
You can get big size USB and create many SETs you like, then in few seconds you go to Direct Preferences command from
the page menu and Select any set you like it for Direct set of banks for the Styles, on page 921 is clearly explain how to to it.
You just need understand how this work, is exactly how suppose to be. Smile
