You know you can just duplicate the same loop a bunch of times and mute the midi parts right?
Also if you are going to make videos do your administrative crap before, like know what project to use and set up your tracks etc, that was painful to watch

I take your point about the admin. The whole thing could have been shorter and more focused for sure.

So about duplicating loops and muting out parts. Yeah of course I know that you can duplicate scenes and just mute midi parts and I actually do this as a final process so that I have a complete song that I can upload to Ableton. But which MIDI tracks should I mute and when? What parameters should I tweak? How will I keep track of all the automation? Creating this consciously is a bit overwhelming for some people and they lose the flow they had when making a loop. This tutorial tries to address this.

I have played with some elektron gear in the past year and the whole live looping thing is partly what inspired me. When you jam/perform your little 4 bar loops it is amazing how much variety you can come up with. And often the whole thing flows together better than copy and pasting blocks around a screen. Check out project dataline's youtube videos or look at one of mine for some kind of proof:

Anyway thanks for the feedback.
