Kinda radical more than likely... a global parameter turning Step 5 (ARP) into a step mode or step record? Arrows used to record to a step would be greatly appreciated.. |

Another thing would be nice and I believe is much needed, would be to turn off quantization from a global parameter. It's 16 step limitation, really sucks IMHO. Increasing the quantization of each step would also be another option. So if the step setting was of 1/64 then an erase of a single step would be of 4 notes. |

Something else that's been really bothering me of these Volcas is the lack of MIDI out. So it's anyone's guess why they haven't added a global parameter to ALLOW MIDI FUNCTION OUT FROM SYMC OUT... why not..? |

remember that you can work around the lack of a real step mode by using Active Step:
- disable all active steps except the first one
- start recording
- insert the desired note(s)
- disable the first active step; enable the following one, and so on
this process is described here with more details for the Volca Keys |
