I'm looking in to buying one of these. For those of you who have purchased it, I'm wondering how it's worked out? How are all of the Beatle styles? The examples sound very good. Anything else you could tell me about the keyboard would be a real help. Thank you. |

Hi Lee. Yes I have a Korg Liverpool and am amazed at the quality of the styles...far better than the midis which ae also preloaded on the system.
The speakers are a bit weak and I send my sound through my other keyboard - Technics KN7000 - to get a much better quality sound. |

Thanks, for your quick response. That's interesting about the difference in quality, aren't the midi files made using the style files? The solo in Penny Lane sounds really good. Is the level of playing up to that standard on all of the songs? |

I suspect that the style files have been made seperately from the midi files perhaps just using the midis as reference to changes in rhythm etc
When you say 'is the level of playing up to the standard of Penny Lane on all of the songs' I take it you mean the midis rather than the style files.
I cannot find fault with the style files which is why I bought the keyboard but I wouldn't use the midi files if I was out gigging because (a) they are not good enough and (b) I'd rather play live anyway. |

So the examples on the Korg website are the midi files, is that correct?
Quite honestly, except for the melody instrument that always sounds squeaky in any midi file, these are the best Beatle midi files I've ever heard. So the style files sound even better? Thanks for your help. |

The Korg website has short audio excerpts (Soundcloud mp3s) of what I'm assuming are the midi files from the Korg Liverpool keyboard. To my knowledge, you can't download either the Liverpool's midi files or the style files from anywhere. |

Correct Lee. They've locked them into the Liverpool. |

Ok. Just remember that it is a microarranger and therefore the keys are slightly narrower than a normal arranger keyboard. |

There were no music stores in my area that had keyboards with the micro keys. Have you adjusted to them? |

Took me a little while until I started feeling the black notes as a guide to the whereabouts of the white ones. I don't play by ear, I play from sheet music. |

Hi,
I think if they ever release the beatles styles for sale, they'll become a best seller.
Really bizarre why they put them in such a small mini keyboard.
