Hi,

Has anyone had an experience/success or recommendations for guitar pedals with the SV-1?

I'm open to anything, looking for different sounds... currently looking for an overdrive. Interested in modulation effects, a more advanced leslie simulator...

Wondering about the signal being too hot for guitar pedals, i heard of people using -20db mic attenuators.

There are quite a few effects units and pedals that can be set to accept line level inputs, and there's a fair bit of discussion on the web. Just search for something like "line-level effects pedals".

One thing to consider is that most pedals are intended for guitar inputs, which are mono. The audio output of the SV-1 is stereo, and much of the richness of the sounds depends on them being heard in stereo. The audio can sound quite thin if mixed down to mono for input into a pedal.

An alternative to pedals worth considering might be something like the Behringer FX2000, with many effects in one box, and line level in (though no headphone out).
