Hi,
I recently bough a Korg PA900. I had a Hammond EXP-50 expression pedal. When trying to calibrate it I got out of range error.
This is how I got it to work
Buy 1 1/4 inch TRS Female to dual RCA male stereo cable
Buy 1 1/4 inch TRS Male to dual RCA female stereo cable
Connect them so that red RCA on one cable goes to white RCA on the other
and visa versa.
Plug your Expression pedal into the female TRS. Plug mail TRS into the assignable pedal.
Calibrate your pedal and you are on the way.
Solution cost about $10 USD from Amazon. A lot cheaper than buying
a new Expression pedal and you can also still use the pedal without the adapter for your hammond. No hardware modification required.
Evidently Korg wires the Expression pedal with wiper (potentiometer) on Ring and Hammond with wiper on Tip. This techniqe reverse the connections.
I'm not the first to find this solution but it was a chore to research it and it didn't call this out fore this particular pedal model. |
