Let's hope for an improved version of the Korg Pa900, which far exceeds the Yamaha Psr-s970

Sorry but in my eyes and ears the pa900 far exeeds the psr 970 in every way. I played one and it sounded like a toy next to my pa900. Many user controls and sound that are just not on the yamaha. By the way until i got my
Pa900 i was a super yamaha fan but after some time working with the korg
there is no contest. If you just want to play get a yamaha they're great out of the box, but if you want to really make a keyboard yours you have to spend
some time making it just what you want and that's where the korgs really
shine.

PA80- > 2000
PA800- >2007
PA900- >2013
Conclusion: 6 to 7 years for a new release, so around 2019/2020 you can expect a PA900 successor.
Just my guess.
Of course, if you can't wait that long: PA4X (2015)...

I think will be this year or the next one because pa900 is no longer manufactured. So, they must release a new model

Do not know where this information come from - hope it is reliable as means still large stockings of pa900-units soon will be available at reasonable prices (applies to second-hand too)!?
Also think no more updates would be made for Pa900, whereas hoped to get sometimes necessary updates like:
- Voice Presets to be memorizable in Presets/STS
- Style-Preferences (Chord Recognition, Velo Control etc) to be memorizable Presets/STS
- Fill Mode

Is not true, is still available and not on the list of discontinue products.

We well see soon if the information is right or not.
Maybe Paolo@Korg will leave a replay here
In my country, the official dealer of Korg, dropped the prices of pa900 and pa600 very low, and I tend to believe, they wanna get rid of stocks. This way they will be ready for new models to come.
P.S. I wait for a pa900 or even a pa4xle with 24 bit DACs. 24 bits is a must these days.

is about same like in USA
Is not discount, .... they just came to normal price
looks like was overpriced before, is not only Pa900,... all went down.

Yes, I have noticed this too. But interesting, when I bought my Pa900 in July 2014, I bought it for the same price (7700 Lei). They said it was a discount then. On their site it was still 8200 Lei or something, at that time.

Because now the KRONOS 2 is about 2600€ in Europe
