Hi folks!
I have a question...nearly 3 years ago i was playing with korg m3, i have my own set, which i want to use with my korg krome now. As you know, there is no simple way to convert the information but lets take a look at one case...
i can open my pcg from the m3 with pcg manager, but how can i understand which sample is using this pcg (of course im telling again that i dont have m3 now)? |

You will have to dive into the binary PCG file.
Another option which may save you a lot of time:
- install PCG Tools (check the link in my signature), if you have not already done it
- Load the M3 PCG file
- Select the program you want to convert
- In the Show menu, select Hex Export
- Navigate to the byte(s) which contain the samples. You can find the offsets in the MIDI system exclusive documentation. There will be a bank number and a sample index, probably you have to do this for every OSC (don't know exactly how many the M3 has). _________________

Thank you so much, i will try with it... it will be little bit hard for me to handle with this MIDI documentation, sounds little bit engineering but i will try! |

I hope one time to build a sample list, but it can take some time before I start, since it differs per model (and especially for the Kronos it is a bit complicated). _________________
