It would be great if KORG could propose an EXs containing all the PCM data and patches of the Korg M1 and Korg T Series.
The same as the iM1 App for iPad, but a kM1 for Kronos. |

As far as I know, most of the M1 waves/samples are in the Kronos. _________________ Chris (Belgium) |

NO at all! On the page 187 of the Voice Name List of Kronos, there are the following Multisamples coming from the Korg M1:
0009 A.Piano-M1
0051 E.Organ-M1
But in the iM1 for iPad, there are more than 900 PCM waveforms and more than 3300 Presets Sounds. The most important here are the PCM waveforms: These Multisamples contributed enormously to the great reputation of KORG Workstations (M1 and T1). |

There are others, such as choir, and pole, that sound sufficiently close to the M1 original samples to be useful. One that is missing, at least in name, is Lore, used in the famous M1 Universe Program.

Sure! However, it is always better to have exactly the same multisample as in the iM1.
I still have my original KORG M1, KORG T3 and the korg M1 software. So it will be interesting if Kronos has these beautiful multisamples and sounds. |

If they included the 01/W PCM also it'd be a dream come true . |

I'm almost certain that the Korg Legacy Edition Software - they have the M1, Wavestation, MS-20, and the Mono/Poly - the M1 comes with all the PCM samples PLUS all the RAM cards that were available AND the T1/3 series cards as well. Just for what it's worth. I bought the whole shebang and love it. And yes, Lore is in there. _________________ Korg Kronos 88 ::: Korg M3-73 ::: Yamaha MOXF6 ::: MacBook Pro w/ Cubase 7.5, Logic X & Mainstage + way too many VSTs
