I tried adding some more sounds to one of the piano+strings combos and it behaved very oddly. I wanted to add flute by itself to the top octave of the keyboard. I set midi to channel 1, turned the voice from off to int, but I couldn't change the key zone. It would not let me raise the top note of that voice's range no matter what I did. In fact, the upper half of that voice's zone was greyed out on the zone control page! I've never had this problem on the Kross before.
It was the same with most of the voice's. Could this be because they were drum sounds originally? Is there any way to change a drum track to a normal sound? Is there some obscure setting I'm missing here? |

Seems strange. For timbre16, you can switch of the step sequencer and then it becomes a full timbre.
Can you maybe be more specific so that it can be replicated? Like from which combi did you start, which timbre did you modify, which program did you select and so on?

Sorry it took a while to get the details.
I'm trying to edit Combo 000 (A000) Piano and Strings
Tracks 3-6 are all "Mad Analog Kit". None of these can be changed to normal sounds, like flute or synth. Is there some setting that locks these tracks into Drum Set Mode? If you change one of them to a flute sound, you get the flute on about two keys at the wrong pitch. |
