As it says in the title: I am looking for a Kronos program that is set up for guita strumming using the ribbon. As in this video (Oasys, not Kronos) arount 1:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c45lZYw9K7M. Or the manual advance feature shown arouns 2:30 in the same video? Or the setup around 3:30 in that video?

Are there any factory programs programmed like that in the Kronos?

A067 Program Nylon Acoustic (guitar) uses strum 3 - GE0935

Thats as far as I got in a minute.

I don't follow using the ribbon. I did not see that enabled in the small parts of the video.
As a guitar player, you want to use your fingers for expression.

A bit after 2:30 you can see Stephen Kay use the ribbon for strumming. It's like the ribbon is configured to do something like manual advance.

I don't have an Oasys so maybe the ribbon and karma on/off and latch switches are placed differently

He does touch something ( twice) 2:09-2;14. I would have guessed he pressed Karma/on/off or latch. Or the buttons in the 1st row for Karma scenes

He definitely uses the ribbon - I think I recall seeing him do that or demo it in some other video but can't seem to find that one.

There was a ribbon demonstration in the video but the strumming was already being played before sweeping along the ribbon. It seemed more like accenting the strum rather than adding strum to the strumming.
Not sure what it was doing and not sure if ribbon assigns as a control in Karma to do anything other than what ribbon normal does as a CC function.

Either way, thanks. I watched this video before and never grasped what was going on, but this time seems to be clearer and i now see the application of Trigger notes and Manual advance feature that i always see in my Karma page on Kronos. A lot of Karma features are hard to make sense of until you have the right GE to demonstrate.

Please check this tutorial from Stephen Kay in Karma-Lab forum:

http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6009

In Stephen words:
"Tutorial: Setting Up Manual Advance and Direct Index
This tutorial explains how to set up "Manual Advance" (using trigger notes to advance through an effect, finger-picking or strumming) and "Direct Index" (using a ribbon or JS to sweep through notes), as shown in the video demonstration from Part 3 of the Music Player Live Presentation."

Rgds.

A067 Program Nylon Acoustic (guitar) uses strum 3 - GE0935

Hello, could please tell us where you found this program ?
Because INT-A 067 is "Waiting for a Girl" and USER-A067 is "Fat Line Bass".

There is a program called "Nylon STR-1 Acoustic" , in INT-C bank, but there is no strumming in it.

Thanks a lot
