Korg is not windows compatible. It just isn't.
Their compatibility with ANY Windows Operating System (especially 10) is experimental at best.
They really should not have the rights to say their products are compatible with Windows. |

What makes you say that?
For which product?
In which way is it not compatible?
I've never encountered any problems with my XL connected over USB to my windows pc...

Well, Cubase 9 is 64-bit only, so Kronos Editor will be blacklisted on startup. _________________ RD-800, Kronos 61, Fantom 6, MODX6, 01/Wfd |

Several Korg devices appear to work fine on Win10 here. OK, so it's been stripped back to look like XP, but the OS hasn't fundamentally changed.

Hi cemego.
Chances are the amount of Windows users on this forum greatly outnumber OSX users, given that Apple only has a 3% market share of desktop operating systems, and Microsoft has over 90%.
The silence is not because everyone runs OSX here, it's because nobody else has this issue your having with KORG drivers.
Maybe you should reset your PC.
Regards

Sooooooooo, the one thing about window any version is that you can find the driver or .exe and right click on it, go to properties, and select COMPATIBILITY MODE, then select the O/S version that you know your app is supported under and it will dumb down to that version. Also you can install new driver the same way _________________ Korg Kronos II - Instant Karma's Gonna Get You, Synth Wars - The Rise of the KARP 2600, OBX8 Kenobi - The Return of the Synth, KARP & Odyessey, Moog One - The Poly Menace, Vintage 2016 Model D, Voyager of Sinbad XL, Fooger Family of Six, Three Mothers Like No Others, Naboo Royal MiniTaur, MoogClaraVox, Criklon V2, in living color, Elektron RytmII Avenue, Neuman U67 |

Why do you think that when the only person who seems to be reporting an issue is the original poster? I haven't heard of anyone else complain?
Cheers

Investigating previous posts of the orriginal user, seems he is having an issue with the Korg Microkey 37... _________________ Korg Kronos 2/88 , Genos, Mainstage3 +VSTsu, ipad pro, GSi Gemini, Roland Integra 7, Jupiter Xm, Yamaha motif XS rack, Ketron SD90.

Technology has gotten more complex over the past decade, IMO. Its rare when anything works easily the 1st time. I have to study manuals, get tips/help from Youtube, forums.
Plug and play ? Make me laff
Interfacing a keyboard with your PC/mac involves some skill, as troubleshooting is often needed. Folks have different recording requirements across platforms.
I hope this does not sound like whining/complaining. I accept the above as part of learning curve. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
