I need some information please! My Korg Krome started making crackling noises while performing so the repair guy said it needed a new chip. I have made different combinations on my keyboard to use with various songs I play...will replacing the chip erase these settings?
Also, How do I sync the pedal that starts/stops the drums on my keyboard?
Thanks for your help!! |

I'm assuming that you saved your settings data,by writing it into the Krome's internal memory(without saving it to an SD card, via the media mode,in the Krome?
If that's the case, then I imagine you will lose that data.If though, you have yet to have the repair done and you still have the Krome in front of you,get a SD card, insert into your SD card slot in the back of the Krome....go into the Media Mode, format your card and then choose Save PCG(as this will save everything you've done on your Krome.)Do that and you'll have no worries. |
