Every time I connect Karma Software to Kronos, and then want to disconnect it, Karma function stops working and I have to reboot Kronos to restore. So far I've found that I have to tick a "Local control on" checkbox on Kronos Global page, but it restores only keyboard playability, not Karma. Very user - unfriendly..
Am I misssing something? Please advise..

Have found the reason and fix - there should be 2 conditions met:

1) Original kdf file loaded in Karma Software
2) You should disconnect via File exit, not just unplugging usb and leaving Karma Software open.

Then everything returns to operable state. I had a custom, blank kdf loaded that's why it messed up Kronos.

When you use the KARMA Software, it disconnects the internal KARMA. By design. The software engine temporarily replaces the KARMA engine in the Kronos. If you simply unplug the usb cable, it does not restore the internal KARMA. Yes, you should exit (quit) the KARMA software when you are done, with the software still connected to the Kronos, so it can send the command to restore the internal KARMA. The "blank" KDF probably had nothing to do with it.

There is also a Bypass feature you should learn about. When you place the KK software in Bypass, it reconnects the internal KARMA and you can use the Kronos and its internal KARMA engine normally, even with the software still connected and open. It allows you to temporarily disconnect the software from the Kronos without having to quit it or unplug the USB cable.

Thank you Stephen! And what about building a custom GE which enables to use sliders and buttons to program an arpeggio pattern? Have you tried that interesting idea?

If you succeed, it will be equivalent to adding a new hardware capabilities to Kronos..
