When I try to save different track settings to STS (for example percussion track off to STS1 and on to STS2) it doesnt work. When I save a different setting to STS2 to setting for STS1 will change as well. Do I miss something or is it not possible to save different track settings within a song?

Regards

Unfortunately not. Only sound settings can be saved to STSs.

Thank you Alina,

so with a Korg keyboard its not possible to quickly change stylepatterns during a song? That was no problem even with my former cheap Yamaha keyboard.

Well, I could name 10 things even the high end Yamaha can't do that the PA900 could. Please keep your fanboyism to yourself. Korg and Yamaha just approach things differently.

Anyway, I can think of a solution/hack using SongBook.

1. Create a song with the first requirement. (Style X, Variation 1 with drums on, Sound 1)
2. Create another song with the 2nd set of requirements. (Style X, Variation 1 with drums off, Sound 2)
3. Create another song (Style X, Variation 2 with drums on, Sound 3)
4. Another song (Style X, Variation 1 with drums on, Sound 2)
5...
6...
7...

Now create a playlist with the songs in the respective order and name that playlist with the name of your song. Use a pedal or assignable switches to change the variation (technically, songs in this case)

Please let me know if that works. Korg doesn't provide a push button for every feature but your understanding of the system lets you do more than just push buttons.
