...I've noticed that in the songbook...If i modify a song ..in BOOK EDIT ONE page (first page) if I tick the box VOICE PROCESSOR reset...
the entry GLOBAL (is in yellow) ((can this be altered)) ??
write current NEW
..Does this alter ALL settings in the songbook for that particular voice ..the volume level etc tc...
Do I leave this unticked when I modify just the one song or will ticking the box change all other settings in the songbook for that particular voice setting..?
Basically....WHAT DOES THE YELLOW 'GLOBAL' mean on the first page/screen of the songbook...?
Hope you understand this.....! _________________ Korg PA900 - Yamaha Tyros 4

I see no one has answered. That is frustrating for sure. Not sure how to answer your question yet, hope to check it out soon, see if I can figure. _________________ PA900 |

Hi Avid:
This section in the Songbook has to do with the settings of your Voice Processor. You can save voice processor setting in Songbook, from what I understand. If you go to page 82 in your manual it will explain how this works. It's the same as the song. By checking the box "write current".
I hope I answered your question. _________________ The only stupid questions are the questions that have not been asked.

...page 82 in my manual (USERS MANUAL)...is about 'Singing with a Microphone'....nothing about Songbook...? _________________ Korg PA900 - Yamaha Tyros 4

Yes you are correct. But these settings will be written in GLOBAL when you check write current in Songbook. This is what the section is all about in Songbook. It pertains to the voice processor. "SINGING WITH THE MICROPHONE". You can make settings which fit your voice and than store it in Songbook by checking "WRITE CURRENT". This will save voice processor settings for this song in Songbook.
Hopefully that answers your question. _________________ The only stupid questions are the questions that have not been asked.
