I am not sure of that. To rephrase you can easily use an expression pedal for a Leslie FX to a Hammond organ program. Thats my preference.
I think some of the traditional Hammond organ terms are obscured on the Kronos for trademark reasons. Instead of a direct reference to "Hammond" or " B3" or C3, Kronos has other describers like ' drawbars " or KE or Tom Coster or Niacin.
Maybe keyboardists are not as interested in Hammond history and terminology.
I think its useful to understand the original gear that the Kronos aims to replicate.
Kronos does a very good job on replicating the many Hammond/Leslie type sounds from decades past. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

On the EXi 1 and EXi 2 page, amp/vc/rotary sp Rotary Speaker page. Mode/Speed, speed SW AMS set to aftertouch. AMS Mode is momentary. |

Maybe "toggle mode" for velocity Leslie speed control is better since speed will accelerate in a certain time period
not instantly when needed , so doing that you will use velocity control in a previous note before the needed one
and once more to turn "fast speed" off.
I believe that "Aftertouch" instead of "Velocity" control would provide a more efficient control in this case !
You can also use both rotary "on" and "Speed" assigned to velocity or aftertouch according to our needs.
The right sound development for instant change to full speed Leslie with velocity or Aftertouch control is the use in
combination mode where the same Hammond Programs will be in two tracks & 2 Leslie FX , one assigned to slow
Leslie and the second at fast speed , designed in the way that velocity or aftertouch only enables one Program
and disable the other.
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer
