I bring up a drum kit and use the sequencer to create my own drum tracks to use on a song. However, after I laid down the bass drum and High Hat, I want to overdub and add a snare, but can't figure out how to do it. Anybody?

Thanks

Open "Preferences" page. (On the down line from Touch View display the 8'th sub page from left to right ).
Will find the REC Setups:Overwrite, Overdub, Manual Punch in/out and Loop all Tracks. M
Maybe the Loop mode is the best way to write a drums.
Select Loop All tracs, Select the range from measure nr. to measure nr.
(M001-M004 for example)
Rec the drum elements one by one. To remove some elements select the Remove Data (is under the Loop All Tracks param), then Touch and keep the Key corresponding on the elements that you want to remove.
To remove all, Select Overwrite, and start to Rec from measure 1. All data will be clear.
In my opinion is very easy to create a patterns first and put in a track.
Open page P10 pattern/RPPR, open menu bar and select pattern Parameter., Select the length and meter. Rec a Pattern. Is the same method as a Loop All Tracks mode. Open the Menu bar again and select "Put To Track". Now can add this pattern to a song track more times. If you change something in the pattern, automatic will be change in the song too.
Hope this help.
